Welcome to Bede Academy! This part of our website is dedicated to providing support and information for families of students who are joining Bede Academy, either as an in-year transfer or at a regular point of transition (Year 7 / Year 12). We recognise that starting a new school is a time of much excitement, but also brings with it some anxiety. We are committed to supporting students as they prepare for this exciting next step, and are here to answer any questions.
Included in the links below, you will find a welcome from the Principal, a virtual tour of the academy site and the Parents’ Handbook, which provides information to support new starters. Also, there are links to data collection forms and consent forms, which need to be completed before new students are placed on roll, and also a link to the academy online uniform shop.
All students at Bede are provided with a form tutor who will oversee their pastoral care and who will be the first point of contact with home. We trust you will find the information on our website useful, as you prepare for this new chapter in your life.
