Get saving: The power of habit is really important when it comes to money. A habit is something you do automatically; you don’t have to think about it too much. If you start the habit of saving money now, that habit will always be with you and will always help you. Every pound you get, whether it’s a gift, an allowance, or pay from a job, get into the habit of saving a portion of it. The older you get, the harder it can seem to save because you have more expenses, but if you started practising saving now, it wouldn’t seem hard to you because it’s just a habit. Even if you saved a £1 a week, you would have more than £50 in a year!
