We are delighted to invite our Year 11 students and their families to our annual Sixth Form Open Evening, which this year will be run as a live virtual Zoom meeting on Thursday 28th January 2021 starting at 5.00pm.
It is with regret that we cannot showcase the Sixth Form physically this year and instead we have opted to invite students to a ‘virtual open day’, which will be on our website from Thursday 21st January, where you can explore the courses we have to offer, as well as a range of recorded videos showcasing the areas studied in each subject. This also includes key information about Sixth Form life, our vision, University guidance and careers support.

To follow up from this, the live Zoom meeting on the evening of Thursday 28 January will be a chance to listen live to the Principal, as well as Mr Lloyd and other members of the Sixth Form Team. Crucially, this is an opportunity for parents, carers and students to ask questions that relate to the Sixth Form, in order to give clear guidance around the courses, entry requirements and other important areas.
In order to attend the Zoom meeting, please could you register your details by accessing the link below. Here you will also be able to ask your questions, so that the Sixth Form Team can consider them and respond on the night. There will also be opportunity on the evening to ask further questions and to break out into smaller virtual meetings with key staff. You can access the Zoom meeting on the evening via the Open Evening website.

We anticipate a large interest in this evening, so registering early will ensure you are able to join us for the meeting. We are very excited by the interest we have from other local schools, from which other students will be joining us to discuss the exciting opportunities ahead for them in our growing and highly successful Sixth Form. On the website, you will also find our online application form, which we are asking all Year 11 students to complete this year. It is important that all students are given every chance to succeed in our growing and highly successful Sixth Form, especially considering the challenging times they are all facing this year.
In the meantime, if you do have any questions about the evening, website or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Lloyd.
